Notebooks on your device are designed to replicate the feel of a traditional paper notebook, consisting of multiple pages that you can seamlessly flip through, expand, and organize. Whether you’re jotting down quick ideas or working on an extended project, creating and navigating pages makes your Notebook flexible and easy to use.
Creating pages
Each Notebook is made up of multiple pages. To move between them:
- Swipe right to left: Navigate to the next page. If you’re on the last page, this gesture automatically creates a new blank page.
- Swipe left to right: Navigate back to the previous page.
Note: If your Notebook only has one page, or if you’re currently on the first page, you cannot swipe left. New pages are always created to the right of the current page.
Adding pages from more options
In addition to swiping, you can manually create new pages via the More options menu:
- Tap the ⋮ (More options) icon in the toolbar.
- Select the ➕ Add page option.
- A blank page will appear immediately to the right of your current page.
Tip: Adding pages does not overwrite or delete existing ones—you can keep expanding your Notebook indefinitely.

Page indicator
At the bottom of your screen, you’ll find the Page indicator, a quick reference that shows you the number of pages in your Notebook and the position of the current page you’re viewing.
- Use this as a visual anchor to understand where you are in longer Notebooks.
- The indicator updates automatically whenever a new page is added.
