Signing up to the Montblanc Cloud

To access your files from the Companion App, you need a Montblanc Cloud account. This account can be created during onboarding or later within the settings of your Digital Paper. Having an account ensures that your notes and documents stay in sync across devices.

Create an account from settings

1. Navigate to Settings > Montblanc Cloud > Create an account.

2. The Montblanc Digital Paper Privacy Policy appears. Please read the information carefully.
  1. To continue, tap AGREE.
  2. To exit without creating an account, tap x in the top-right corner.

Note: You must agree to the privacy policy in order to create a Montblanc Cloud account.

3. Enter your details in the required fields:
  1. First name
  2. Last name 
  3. Email address
  4. Password (enter twice to confirm) 
Your password must:
  1. Have at least 10 characters
  2. Contain one uppercase letter
  3. Contain one lowercase letter
  4. Contain one digit
  5. Contain one special character
Note: If the password is too weak, a message appears above the field. To reveal what you have typed, tap the eye icon.

If the provided email address is already linked to an existing account, you will see a note above the field: Email already exists. In this case, return to the settings screen and log in instead. If you no longer remember your password, you can reset it (see Montblanc Cloud section).

4. Once your details are correct, tap CREATE. You are then redirected to the email verification screen. Check your email inbox for a verification code and enter it using the number pad.

Note: The code is valid for three minutes. If it expires, select Resend code to receive a new one.

5. Tap CONFIRM to finalize account creation. A confirmation screen appears to let you know your Montblanc Cloud account is ready.
