Sharing files from your Digital Paper

Sharing files from your Digital Paper

Digital Paper enables you to share documents directly via email, provided your device is connected to both the internet and your Montblanc Cloud Account. You can share from multiple locations in just a few steps.

Step 1: Enter email address

  1. Long-press on a file on your homescreen and tap Share on the file you want to send.
  2. Enter the recipient’s email address using either the Digital Pen or the keyboard.
  3. Tap Add to confirm the address. Each email address will appear as a bubble on the screen.
  • You can add up to 10 email addresses at once.
  • After sending, your device remembers up to 10 frequent contacts for quick reuse.
  • To remove a saved contact, tap the ‘x’ on its bubble.

At the top of the screen, you will also see the list of attached files with their file sizes. To remove an attachment, tap the ‘x’ next to it.

Step 2: Review and send

  1. The email draft includes a predefined subject line and body text, ready for quick sending.
  2. If needed, tap the subject or body field to edit before sending.
  3. Confirm your recipients and attachments, then tap Send.

You can:

  • Share multiple files in a single email.
  • Add multiple recipients.
  • Attachments must be under 25 MB per file, with a total combined size also below 25 MB.
Note: If a file exceeds 25 MB, the Share option will be disabled. In this case, use a USB-C cable for transfer instead.

Important note

  • Books (ePub): Shared in their original format, without annotations.
  • Notebooks, Quick Notes, and PDFs: Shared with your annotations and/or comments included in PDF format.
• When using Convert to text, available sharing options depend on your Cloud connection and internet access.
  • Notebook with multiple templates: It is recommended to share notebooks with multiple templates directly from the device to ensure all settings remain intact.
