Montblanc Digital Paper allows you to add comments and annotations to your PDF documents, including articles, presentations, and contracts. This feature allows you to include additional thoughts, highlight important points, or provide feedback directly on the document.
To add a comment:
- Tap the comment icon in the toolbar.
- Tap on the spot on the screen where you want to add your comment.
- A pop-up window appears, allowing you to write your comment using either your Digital Pen or the keyboard.
- Tap 'ADD' to save the comment or 'CANCEL' to discard it.
Once added, a small comment icon appears at the location of your comment. Tapping the icon reopens the comment, enabling you to read, edit, or delete it. The timestamp of each comment is also displayed.
Editing and deleting comments
- To edit a comment, tap the edit icon in the comment pop-up. You can then make changes with the pen or keyboard. Save your edits by tapping ADD, or cancel changes by tapping CANCEL.
- To delete a comment, tap the Paper bin icon.
Note: Please note that deleting a comment is permanent and cannot be undone.
Annotations
Annotations let you highlight or mark up content in your PDFs. Use the writing toolbar to select different pen types, colors, and thicknesses. Your annotations can include underlines, highlights, sketches, or handwritten notes.
Annotations are visible on the PDF and can be shared with others. They do not modify the original content of the PDF, ensuring your edits remain non-destructive.
- Combine comments with annotations for clarity and emphasis.
- Use different colors or pen styles to differentiate types of annotations.
- Comments and annotations added on Digital Paper are visible on other platforms when the document is shared.
- Regularly review and organize your comments to maintain clarity, especially on long PDFs.
This commenting and annotation system allows for efficient feedback, note-taking, and interactive reading directly on your Digital Paper device.
