Storage overview
Digital Paper provides you with free access to 1GB of Cloud storage. Please note that Cloud storage info is only available from the Companion or Web app. To view your current Cloud storage usage:
- In the Companion App, go to Settings > General
- In the Web App, the info is displayed on the home screen
You’ll see how much of your 1GB cloud storage is used and which file types are taking up the most space.
What happens if your Cloud storage is full?
When your 1 GB is full:
- The most recently opened or edited files stay synced in the Cloud.
- Older files are removed from the Cloud but remain safely stored on your Digital Paper.
- Files added via USB only sync to the Cloud after being opened and edited.
Sync status
Your app will reflect the most up-to-date version of any document edited on your Digital Paper, as long as:
- The device is connected to the internet
- The Montblanc Cloud is actively synced
Check the Cloud icon on your device’s home screen to confirm sync activity.
