Sleep screens



The Montblanc Digital Paper features a default Sleep screen that appears whenever the device enters sleep mode. While this default is always shown, you can personalize your sleep screen by selecting from a curated set of artistic options. This allows your device to reflect your style while still conserving battery. 

In addition, the device can automatically shuffle between available sleep screen visuals. When enabled, a different visual is displayed each time the device is locked. 


Here’s how you can modify your Sleep screen:

  1. Navigate to the Sleep screen settings

    Open Settings → General → Display → Sleep screen to access the personalization options.

  2. Open the selection menu

    Tap on the currently displayed sleep screen. A pop-up will appear, showcasing the available artistic Sleep screens.

  3. Choose your preferred Sleep screen

    Scroll through the selection and tap on the illustration you’d like to set as your new Sleep screen.

  4. Confirm or cancel your selection

    • Tap APPLY to confirm your choice.
    • Tap the x in the top-right corner to cancel and return to the previous screen without changes.

  5. Turn sleep screen shuffle on or off

    Please note that if sleep screen shuffle is toggled on, your device shuffles through available visuals whenever you lock your device. If you would like to keep your chosen sleep screen visual, simply uncheck the box on the right.

  6. View the new Sleep screen

    Once applied, your selected Sleep screen will appear whenever your device locks or enters sleep mode.
