Setting up your WiFi

Setting up your WiFi

WiFi enables access to cloud features, syncing, and the latest software updates. You can connect during onboarding or anytime later in settings.

Why WiFi matters

Connecting to a secure network early unlocks full functionality, ensures you're running the latest version, and prepares your device for cloud integration.

Connecting to WiFi during onboarding

Connectivity is first introduced during the onboarding step once you have selected your preferred language.

Note: You can skip WiFi during this setup, but we recommend connecting to a known network to benefit from immediate updates and features.

Your device displays nearby networks. Select one and tap Connect. If needed, enter the password using the keyboard. You can reveal your entry with the eye icon or clear it using the "x".

Note: Captive networks (those requiring a browser login) are not supported. If selected, you'll be prompted to choose a different network.

If your connection drops during setup, you can retry, switch networks, or choose to continue without WiFi.

Managing WiFi in settings

After onboarding, manage your connection in Settings > Connectivity.

  • Toggle WiFi on using the switch on the right
  • Available networks will appear below
  • Connected networks are labeled Connected
  • Tap a secured network to enter the password, then press Connect

You can reveal the password as you type or delete it if needed. If the password is incorrect, a note appears prompting you to try again.

To connect to a hidden network:

  • Tap "Add network"
  • Enter the SSID and password
  • Tap "ADD NETWORK" to save
