Sending files to your Digital Paper via E-Mail

Sending files to your Digital Paper via E-Mail

The Montblanc Cloud allows you to easily send PDFs and eBooks to your Digital Paper via email, no cables or apps needed. This guide shows you how to enable the feature, find your device’s unique email address, and send files directly to your home screen.

What is Receive files via email?

Receive files via email lets you import files to your Digital Paper using a personalized email address linked to your Montblanc Cloud Account. Once activated, you can send supported files (PDFs and eBooks) from any email account to your device.

How to enable this feature

    1. Open the Settings on your Digital Paper
    2. Make sure you're signed in to your Montblanc Cloud Account
    3. Go to Account > Receive files via email
    4. Toggle the feature on using the checkbox on the right

Once enabled, you’ll be able to receive files at your unique Montblanc ID email address, which you can find at the top of the Account section.

Note: We recommend enabling this feature only when you're expecting a file. Anyone who knows your Montblanc ID email address can send files to your device while this feature is enabled.

Finding your Digital Paper email address

Your unique Montblanc ID email address is automatically generated and shown at the top of your account settings screen. It usually includes your first and last name.

Example: jfwinter@montblanc.com

How to send files to your device

    1. Open your preferred email program
    2. Create a new email addressed to your Montblanc ID email
    3. Attach a PDF or eBook file (max 100MB)
    4. Send the email

If your device is connected to the internet and the Cloud, the file will appear on your home screen within a few minutes.

Note: Files are scanned for viruses before appearing on your device. There may be a short delay of up to 5 minutes before they show.

Disabling the feature

You can turn off Receive files via email at any time by toggling the setting off in Settings > Account > Receive files via email.

When disabled, your Digital Paper will no longer accept incoming files via email.
