Regular software updates are crucial for maintaining the performance, stability, and security of your Montblanc Digital Paper. Updates often include improvements that fix known issues, enhance device stability, and introduce new features that expand your device’s capabilities. Keeping your device up to date ensures your experience remains smooth, secure, and aligned with the latest advancements.

Accessing updates

You can update your device either during the onboarding process when you first set up your Digital Paper, or later via the General > About section in your settings. In the About section, you can view your current software version and the date of your last update check.

You also have the option to turn Automatic system updates on or off. When enabled, your device will automatically install new updates as they become available, providing immediate access to bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features. If automatic updates are turned off, it is recommended to check manually for updates regularly from your Settings.

Note: Your device must be connected to the internet to download or check for updates. Without a connection, update checks and installations will not be possible.
