The Montblanc Companion App allows you to access your files on the go, whether they were uploaded from your Digital Paper or added directly via the app. Understanding how to navigate the app helps you quickly find, organize, and view your content.
To begin, simply swipe up or down to scroll through the list of files. When swiping down for the first time, two small handles appear on either side of the screen. These handles allow you to access sorting, filtering, and view options.

Sorting and filtering
The left handle opens the sorting and filter options. Here, you can refine which files are displayed on your screen. You can filter by:
- All files
- Folders
- Notebooks
- Quick Notes
- PDFs
- eBooks
- Bookmarked files

Once you select a filter, you can also choose from three sorting options:
After making your selection, the menu closes automatically, and the chosen filter and sort order are applied. The top of the screen displays the active filters.
Switching views
The right handle allows you to toggle between list view and grid view. Tap the preferred option, and the menu closes automatically. This lets you quickly change the way your files are displayed to best suit your workflow.
Note: Please note that filters and view options are only applicable on the home screen of the Companion App.
