Language and region settings shape your overall experience, from device interaction to time zone accuracy.
Setting the device language
Choosing the right language ensures you can confidently navigate your device. The interface, instructions, and future updates are available in your selected language, enhancing usability from the start.
Selecting your device language is the first step in your onboarding process. However, it can also be later modified under Settings.
To select your language in Settings:
- Tap on Settings
- Select General
- Select Language and region
- Select Language in the following sub-menu
- Then, tap on the language of your preference.

Setting the device region
Your region setting determines how your device displays formats for time, date, and local preferences. It also influences which services and content are most relevant to you.
You may either set your region during onboarding or later in Settings.
To select your region in Settings:
- Tap on Settings
- Select General
- Select Language and region
- Select Region in the following sub-menu
- Then, either scroll or type in the region and select it.
Default region suggestions are based on your chosen language, but you can select the area where you live or spend most of your time. This helps align schedules, features, and device syncs to your routine.
