Knowing your Montblanc Digital Paper’s software version helps you stay informed about the features and fixes installed on your device. You can view the current software version either during onboarding or anytime from the General section in Settings.

Understanding software version numbers

The software version on your Digital Paper is always displayed in the format X**.YY**. Here, the X indicates a major update, which often introduces significant new features or improvements. The YY represents minor updates or bug fixes, which refine existing functions and enhance overall stability.

Being aware of this numbering helps you understand the type of update your device has received and ensures you are keeping track of both major enhancements and smaller improvements.
