Downloading Resources to your Montblanc Digital Paper
The Resources section of the Help Center includes downloadable content for your Montblanc Digital Paper, such as planners and other workbooks.
This article explains how to download a resource and add it to your device. Throughout this guide, we use the Digital Planner as an example, but the same process applies to all downloadable resources available in the Help Center.
Step 1: Download a resource
To download a resource:
- Open the Resources section of the Help Center.
- Select the article for the resource you would like to use, such as the Digital Planner.
- Select the download link within the article.
- The PDF file will be downloaded to your computer, smartphone, or tablet.
Once downloaded, the document can be imported to your Montblanc Digital Paper.
Choosing a language
Montblanc Resource documents are available in multiple languages. Please note that the language of the downloaded document matches the language currently selected in the Help Center.
To download a resource in a different language:
- Change the Help Center language using the language switcher in the top left or the burger menu (on mobile).
- Download the file again using the download link.
The downloaded resource will match the selected Help Center language.
Step 2: Import the resource to your Digital Paper
After downloading a resource, there are several ways to transfer it to your device.
Option 1: Using the Companion App
The Companion App provides a convenient way to upload resources and sync them to your Digital Paper.
- Open the Companion App and sign in with your Montblanc Cloud account.
- Upload the downloaded PDF.
- Wait for the file to sync.
Once syncing is complete, the resource will appear on your Digital Paper. Please note that your device needs to be connected to a stable internet connection for newly added files to sync.
Option 2: Using Receive files via email
Resources can also be sent directly to your device using your Montblanc Cloud email address.
Before using this method, make sure Receive files via email is enabled:
- Open Settings on your Digital Paper.
- Go to Account → Receive files via email.
- Enable the feature.
To send a resource to your device:
- From your email account, create a new email addressed to your Montblanc Cloud email address shown in your account settings.
- Attach the downloaded PDF.
- Send the email.
If your device is connected to the internet and synced with the cloud, the file will appear within a few minutes.
Option 3: Using a USB connection
USB transfer is especially useful for larger files.
- Connect your Digital Paper to your computer using a USB-C cable.
- Select File transfer when prompted.
- Open the Import folder that appears on your computer.
- Copy the downloaded PDF into the folder.
- Disconnect your Digital Paper.
The file will automatically be imported and added to your document library.
Step 3: Start using your resource
Once imported, resources behave like any other PDF document on your Digital Paper.
You can:
- Write directly on the pages
- Add annotations and notes
- Organize resources alongside your other documents
- Use hyperlinks within supported documents
