Regular cleaning helps maintain the longevity and appearance of your Digital Paper. While the device is designed with premium materials, improper cleaning methods may cause damage.
General cleaning
Avoid solvent-based cleaners such as acetone or isopropanol, as they can damage the surface. Instead, use a mild water–detergent solution (for example, dish soap) applied to a microfiber cloth. The cloth should be damp, not overly saturated, to prevent water from entering the device.
Cleaning the display
For everyday cleaning, gently wipe the display with a clean microfiber cloth. For harder-to-remove stains, you can carefully use an eraser with light pressure to avoid damaging the screen.
Leather sidebar
Unlike the rest of the device, the leather sidebar requires special care. Designed with high-quality leather, each of Montblanc’s leather goods is made to last. However, leather is a natural material that can be sensitive to light, moisture, high temperatures, and oils. To preserve its condition, regular care is recommended.

Accessories
Leather accessories, such as covers, should be cleaned with the same recommendations as other Montblanc leather goods. Regular care helps prevent scratches and keeps them in good condition.
USB socket
For the USB socket, compressed air can be used to blow out dust or other small particles. This ensures a proper connection and helps protect the internal contacts.
Water protection
Please note that your device is not waterproof. Avoid direct contact with liquids and store the device in a dry environment.
