GET DIGITAL PAPER
Elevate your writing experience
If your pen is not writing, first ensure it is paired correctly with your Digital Paper in the device settings. If it still does not write consistently or produces intermittent strokes, the pen tip may be worn down. Pen tips naturally wear out over time and replacing them restores smooth writing performance.
Files sync only when your Digital Paper is connected to Wi-Fi and paired with Montblanc Cloud. Sync checks occur every five minutes, so files do not appear instantly. Please ensure that you have uploaded the file in the correct format (PDF or ePUB) and are logged into your Montblanc Cloud account on your Digital Paper.
Digital Paper supports notebooks, quick notes, PDFs, and eBooks. They can be edited and annotated directly on the device.
Yes, Digital Paper supports left-hand mode. You can control your screen orientation by first accessing the Control Center (swipe down from the top of your homescreen). Then, disable the rotate lock and physically rotate your device to your desired writing position. Finally, re-enable the rotate lock to keep the screen in that orientation.
Captive Wi-Fi networks require additional login steps, such as those in hotels or airports. Accessing internet via these networks are currently disabled on Digital Paper.
Books in .epub format can be added via USB import, Montblanc Cloud sync, or by using the “Send to Paper” feature. Once imported, your book will automatically appear on your homescreen.
Yes, you can assign different actions to the pen buttons in settings. For example, one button may be used for erasing while another switches writing tools. This customization helps streamline your writing and navigation experience.
Pen tips gradually wear down with use and affect writing quality. If strokes become uneven or require more pressure, it is time to replace them. Replacement tips are easy to install and maintain a smooth writing experience.
Disconnecting removes cloud syncing from your device, but your files remain stored locally. Files already in the cloud stay accessible through your account. You can reconnect later to resume syncing without losing your documents.
You can add files in three ways: via Montblanc Cloud, by USB import, or by using “Send to Paper” from other devices.
